Client Services Executive

The Role

Working within a dynamic, rapidly expanding agency with a great reputation and a clearly defined future, the Client Services Executive will be responsible for supporting the client services team in the day-to-day running of wide range of client accounts.

About you

You will be required to work calmly under pressure and be used to tight deadlines, while also demonstrating a flexible approach to your workload. Working in a fast paced communications business you will also need excellent:

You should be able to show a creative flair and have an eye for detail, as well as a willingness to learn about every aspect of a client’s business. You should want to learn new skills, technologies and practices and be ready to apply your existing knowledge to offering the right solutions for your client and the agency team.

Your essential qualities

  • A levels (grades A-C or equivalent college education)

  • Computer literate, with experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Creative thinker

  • Good attention to detail

  • Good eye for design

  • Energetic team player, enthusiastic and self-motivated

  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines while being flexible

  • Digitally native

Your desirable qualities

  • Marketing degree and/or CIM equivalent qualification

  • 12 months’ experience in a marketing or agency environment

  • Mac and PC literate

  • Some knowledge of print, production and design requirements

  • A passion for marketing and an enthusiasm for learning new skills

  • A desire for personal and professional development

Your responsibilities

As Client Services Executive you will be expected to support the client team in providing consistently high levels of client service to all the client accounts you support on and build on those relationships to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Work with the Client Executives and Client Managers to ensure all processes, from brief to delivery, are carried out to a consistently high standard, and that briefs are followed accurately across disciplines, in order to create accurate cost estimates and work schedules

  • Liaise with suppliers and Cognition team members in the administration of all monthly hours allocation and coordination of associated work

  • Manage project planning tools to ensure jobs are on-time and within budget

  • Provide creative solutions for your clients projects

  • Provide administration support to ensure the smooth running of client accounts and billable time

  • Work with Client Managers to prepare cost estimates and proposals

  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and service providers to ensure projects are delivered to budget and on-time

  • Keep all billable time up-to-date, logging and reporting in a timely manner, to aid management reporting
